For your experience and enjoyment, here is a list of my all-time favorite coffee shops and recommended drinks:
- Ministry of Coffee
- A trendy and aesthetically pleasing coffee shop located in the Westwood Village, just off the UCLA campus. Order the lavender latte with oat milk for a sweetly warm experience, while studying for finals or hanging out with good company.
- Zia Valentina
- A cute booth in the midst of The Original Farmer’s Market in Los Angeles, this spot is known for their iconic waffle shots, which are waffle cones molded into shot glasses and covered in chocolate on the inside. The cookies and cream affogato shot is all you need to try to back me up on why this place is so great, despite their prices.
- Urth Caffe
- I hate admitting it because it’s such a trend to go there for social media clout, but a run to Urth Caffe was a daily occurrence for me when I worked a block down from their West Hollywood location. The stamp cards, and their so sweet, yet so strong Spanish Lattes, just always had me coming back for more.
- Le Pain Quotidien
- My job in West Hollywood, which involved regularly buying coffee for the whole office, really fueled my caffeine addiction, as while I still made a run to Urth every day, I was also a frequent buyer of Le Pain’s vanilla lattes with oat milk and sweetened with agave.
