Nothing is better than going through a long, rough day, and then taking a sip of deliciously strong coffee. Actually the one way to make that even better is for it to be free, and today it beautifully was.
Once again one of my sorority sisters came in clutch for me with a surprise cup of the key to my heart, coffee. As a Starbucks employee, she always comes home from closing shifts with treats (leftover pastries and sandwiches) for those who live in our house. However as I got closer to her from living in the next room over, I’ve gotten the privilege of benefiting from her free coffee runs.
After a long day of work and classes, she knew I would be pulling yet another all-nighter studying for tests and finishing assignments. So when she came home from work, she found me in the spot of the house I like to hide from everyone in, and handed me a beautiful Nitro Cold Brew from Starbucks.
I’ve had this drink from other establishments before and I thoroughly enjoyed the extra strength of it considering its both a cold brew, and mixed with nitrogen, but I’d never tried Starbucks’ version of it. I was surprisingly impressed.
The smooth, velvety taste of it was exactly what I needed to start off my night of typing and getting that grind on, and it was definitely a piece of the motivation that got m through the night for sure.
