The only thing I love more than coffee, is free coffee, and I’d personally like to thank not only this coffee blog, but also the assignments of MCOM63, for this unforgettably, wonderful, free coffee experience.
Every Monday and Wednesday, I blog about how I haphazardly climb off my top bunk, after snoozing my alarm for an hour straight. I write about my terrible habit of leaving my house for my 9am class incredibly late, but still never failing to stop for my morning iced coffee. The other day, instead of blogging about it, I explained my morning routine to a few people in conversation. My dedication to buying myself coffee every morning despite my poor time management skills, and dwindling bank account, scored me a date. A date in which I was treated to a deliciously made vanilla latte, poured over just the right amount of ice, on a chilly day.
It was the first Friday of October, and the streets of downtown San Jose, were filled with community members checking out the tents set up the live musical performances. I was inside Caffe Frascati for the first time.
The menu was pretty limited, nothing special to look at. So I went with a classic, an iced vanilla latte. As a former barista, I can attest that this recipe is pretty difficult to accidentally stray from and mess up. They did great.
