As per tradition with my big sister, I went to Lee’s Sandwiches to enjoy a sweet, yet extremely strong cup of iced coffee and condensed milk. Since the beginning of the calendar year, my friend Kara and I have made it a habit to enjoy a coffee date at this establishment every week. This visit was my first of the school year.
Ordering was simple. It was a small signature Vietnamese iced coffee, and the service was fast. My drink was made in less than the time it took me to walk the couple blocks down from my eyebrow threading place, that I went to that morning, as a part of my day of errands.
Lee’s coffee is never a mistake on the drinkers’ part. The inclusion of condensed milk in the caffeine, makes it so the drink is sweet enough that you must drink it slowly, allowing you to really appreciate and indulge in the flavor. The strength of the caffeine is the winning feature though. A small cup of this coffee, can get me going for the whole day, in a way that’s only comparable to Philz.
